About me
I'm James Stevenson. I founded and ran a regulated airline pilot training company for over 20 years – responsible for finance, sales, marketing, operations, regulation, and partnerships. I know what it's like to be the person who has to figure everything out.
These days I work with small business owners and freelance professionals who are good at what they do but find the business side gets in the way. I genuinely enjoy this work – there's something particularly satisfying about solving these problems in someone else's business, where I can focus entirely on the issue rather than worrying about everything else simultaneously.
I've designed this stage of my career around what I'm good at, what I find interesting, and where I can actually make a difference. That means I take on work I believe in, move fast, and stay hands-on throughout.
